Positive Grid is seeking a Channel Sales Manager – Software to drive overall channel revenue for all software products, support and services. S/he will provide daily communication and coordination with our existing distribution partner(s) and build out our sales channel to ensure coverage across all focus markets and segments. This position will report to the VP – Global Sales. Work home based in US or Europe.

Responsibilities:
● Build and maintain a Software channel network and define overall distribution strategy.
● Manage Positive Grid Software sales and support teams to ensure alignment to Positive Grid’s channel strategy and philosophy.
● Own management relationships across Software reseller and distribution network.
● Increase the strategic value of the Positive Grid brand in the market through channel marketing activities and campaigns in collaboration with senior management.
● Directly manage Positive Grid Software channel relationships with distributors and resellers.
● Leverage the extended internal & external teams to grow revenue & market share.
● Work with channel marketing to design and execute Software channel programs and campaigns.
● Oversee Software business planning process and set objectives, financial targets and critical milestones.
● Participate in regular business reviews (minimum quarterly) with top partners in channel.
● Provide VP Global Sales with critical business visibility and weekly business status.
● Provide understanding of business dynamics and key drivers by region/country and set localized strategy.
● Stay abreast of competitive products, technologies and industry trends and provide regular input and feedback to senior sales and product management.
● Prepare presentations, territory plans and reports as needed.

Requirements:
● Five plus (5+) years sales experience of managing channel programs and relationships in MI (Musical Instrument) guitar and/or technology Software products.
● Experience within a start-up environment is advantageous but not required.
● Experience entering new markets and creating relationships and growing business with distributors and resellers is a plus.
● Excellent presentation and communication skills to represent Positive Grid.
● Strong experience and understanding of Software markets and channels.
● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; must be high energy, motivated and a self starter.
● Ability to travel as needed domestically. Some international travel might be required.
● Ability and willingness to work some weekends for industry trade shows.

The Channel Marketing Manager plans, develops, and executes all of Positive Grid product launches and post launch activities with our dealer and distributor network all across the US territory. The ideal candidate is fully responsible for working with Positive Grid’s marketing and sales teams to create demand and brand awareness with the end users in local stores. The Channel Marketing Manager will report directly to the Head Of Marketing. We have a culture of innovation, collaboration, and creativity. Responsibilities:
• Plan, develop, and execute diverse channel marketing activities to generate demand in multiple MI stores across US
• Create promotional initiatives and ongoing channel partner communications to support the sales team and achieve the desired revenue and business objectives
• Continuously create copy and graphic support following the marketing and sales briefing to optimize channel marketing efforts with the partnered channels
• Effectively communicate with the channel partners to create overall marketing support, promotional activities, demand generation, clinics, tradeshows, demos, and overall brand awareness
• Advices sales team on different marketing activities to optimize the sell through rates with channels. I.e: email campaigns, marketing automation, regional events, CRM, etc.
• Creates quarterly plans and reports to be reviewed by the Head Of Marketing and VP of Sales

Requirements:
● 5 years of relevant work experience in channel marketing in MI space
● Proven ability to build relationships with US dealers, distributors, and resellers
● Demonstrated success in partnering with sales and marketing organizations to generate demand and achieve sales goals
● A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study such as computer science
● Demonstrated track record in crafting compelling positioning and marketing content
● Have developed compelling marketing assets (product videos, web content, etc)
● Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative music technology products
● Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
● The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
● Experience with music apps is preferred
● Guitar and/or bass player is preferred
● Master’s degree is a plus
● Ability to effectively communicate in English orally and in writing
● Must be familiar with Positive Grid product portfolio

Positive Grid is looking for a seasoned Global Artist Relations Director with proven success in the MI industry. He/she will manage the overall AR strategy, planning, and execution to create a solid relationship between Positive Grid and the artist community. The Global Artist Relations Director will report to the Head Of Marketing and manages a team of AR reps to meet and exceed the AR plan goals by growing the current artist roster, create and execute endorsement programs, and craft promotional activities related with artists relations.

Responsibilities:

● Plan and execute global AR strategies to build solid artist relationships, maximize global brand awareness, and create effective artist content on a daily basis

● Work with the marketing teams to develop artist stories and content into compelling material for internal and external distribution including a variety of marketing content for web, video, PR, social media, etc

● Manage budgeting, logistics, and partnerships to maximize the AR presence across several different countries around the world with focus on hardware products

● Manage the artist relations team, activities and communications on a daily basis, making sure Positive Grid and the artists have a solid and strong relationship

● Create new global artist opportunities that build value for Positive Grid and deliver credibility to the products we create and bring to the market

● Act as the primary liaison between Positive Grid and artists and coordinate their participation in events and tradeshows

● Grow and maintain a robust and detailed database of artist contacts

● Build a sense of community amongst the Positive Grid artist roster through artist focused communications, social media, etc

● Participate and contribute to the planning and execution of marketing activities that involve artists

Requirements:

● 7-10 years of experience as an artist relations manager

● Capable of building and developing one on one relationships with artists

● Music and/or music instruments background is preferred

● Must be familiar with all of Positive Grid’s hardware products

● Able to work under constant pressure, organized, and pays special attention to detail with excellent management skills

● Team player, helpful, and focused on growing the overall brand strategy over personal goals

● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external contacts

● Exceptional planning and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and activities

● Must be familiar with video direction, editing, and overall creative video direction

● Professional, creative and problem solver

● Must be able to travel throughout US, Europe, and Japan

Positive Grid is looking for a US local support with relevant work experiences in the industry. He/she will provide the necessary technical support to internal staff, such as Sales / Marketing / Artist Relationship teams and also customers via service center, mail and phone. This candidate will also manage parts and conduct PCB level services for Positive Grid products.

Responsibilities:
1. Live chat support on help center and/or phone support at given hours
2. PCB-level repair and product refurbishment when necessary
3. Provide internal and B2B technical support
4. Part inventory management for repair tasks
5. Inspect and identify underlying hardware problems
6. Coordinate activities/meetings with other departments

Requirements:
– At least 3 years of relevant work experiences in the industry
– Guitar player and DAW user
– This is a work-from-home position, but a work room/workshop with tools for repair tasks and part inventory is a MUST.
– Must speak English fluently
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Good analytical and problem solving skills
– Logical thinker and detail-oriented worker
– In-depth understanding of Positive Grid products is preferred
– Must be a self-driven, sociable individual that is able to work successfully with others.
